GENERAL REGISTRATION QUESTIONS

How do I register a camper?
The quickest and easiest way to register is by doing it online using a credit card. When you go to the session’s web page, click on the "Register” link above the camp information. You may also pay via check by mail.

Do I have to pay the full camp fee at the time of registration?
BB Lacrosse Camps requires full payment at the time of registration.

When do you stop accepting registrations for camps?
Registration generally closes 48 hours prior to the start of the camp. All camp registrations are processed in the order in which they are received.

Does BB Lacrosse Camps offer any discounts on the registration fees?
BB Lacrosse Camps offers a discount to groups of 12 or more participants. Please contact BB Lacrosse Camps directly for more information.

May a camper pay a pro-rated fee if the camper is not attending the entire camp?
We encourage campers to attend our camps from start to finish; therefore BB Lacrosse Camps does not pro-rate camp fees.

Can I pay by mail?
BB Lacrosse Camps accepts payments by mail. Please make checks out to BB Lacrosse Camps and mail to: BB Lacrosse Camps, 3400 N. Charles St., Baltimore, MD 21218.

Can I hold a spot in camp for my child and then complete the registration later?
No, in order to reserve a spot in camp, a registration and the required payment must be submitted.

If a camp is full, do you have a waiting list?
BB Lacrosse Camps is very popular. By registering online, if camp is full, you will be notified of your addition to the wait list. Openings come on a first-come, first-served basis.

ONLINE REGISTRATION QUESTIONS

How soon will I receive confirmation for a camp registration?
Online camp registrations are immediately processed and confirmed. Please look for important links in your confirmation email. Look for emails from bblaxcamps@gmail.com To ensure you receive these emails, please add that address to your Safe Senders List.

I received an email stating that my child is registered for camp. When will we receive additional details and instructions about camp? 
An overview of camp details and instructions is included in your confirmation email. Additional details and instructions will be sent via email and will be available on www.petrolacrossecamps.com closer to the start of camp. Please take care to review all information prior to camp. Please check your email regularly, as this is our primary method of communication with campers and their parents. Any additional information that we need to convey as your camp draws closer will be sent to you via the email address that you provide on the camp registration.

DINING

Are meals provided at camp?
BB Lacrosse Camps Day Camp provides lunch each day. No meals are provided at BB Lacrosse Camps Evening Camp.

Where do campers eat?
Campers eat at Johns Hopkins University dining facilities.

My camper has special dietary needs. Are you able to accommodate that, and whom should I contact?
BB Lacrosse Camps is generally able to accommodate special dietary needs. Please email us at bblaxcamps@gmail.com with any requests at least 21 days prior to the start of camp.

MEDICAL

Does my camper need to have a physical prior to attending camp?
No, we do not require a physical. However, every camper is required to submit a completed Parent Consent Form in order to participate in camp.

Is an athletic trainer available for the campers?
Yes, at least one athletic trainer is present at all times at all sessions.

My camper has special medical needs. Whom should I contact?
Please email us at bblaxcamps@gmail.com with any requests at least 21 days prior to the start of camp.

Is health insurance required in order for a camper to enroll in camp?
Yes, health insurance is required for campers to participate in BB Lacrosse Camps. Please provide proof of insurance with the Parent Consent Form.

COMING TO CAMP

What should my camper bring to camp?
Each Camper must bring his own equipment and come dressed to play. No locker room facilities are available at BB Lacrosse Camps. BB Lacrosse Camps does not provide any equipment. The following equipment is mandatory for play: helmet, gloves, arm pads, shoulder pads, and mouth guard. Helmets must be worn at all times at playing fields. Each camper will receive a reversible pinnie which must be used at all lacrosse sessions. Please refrain from bringing valuables to camp. Sneakers and cleats (preference of shoes is up to the camper; sessions are held on both turf and grass.)

Please bring recreational shoes/sandals as no cleats are allowed inside Johns Hopkins University Dining Facilities or other buildings.

When and where do I drop off my camper on the first day?
The drop-off and pick-up instructions, schedule, and locations will be provided closer to camp.

Where are the camps located?
BB Lacrosse Camps are held on the Homewood Campus of Johns Hopkins University.

What should I do if I am running late for, or will miss, the camp's check-in?
If you are aware of your need to check in late well ahead of time, please indicate this on your online registration. The day of camp, please call us at 607.221.3682 to notify us of when you believe you will be arriving on campus. We will provide you specific instructions for where to go.

Does my camper need to bring spending money?
BB Lacrosse Camps offers apparel and gear at the Camp Store. The Camp Store will be open on select days throughout camp and is open to parents and families as well.

Can parents stay and watch camp?
BB Lacrosse Camps are open and parents may observe camp from a viewing area (not on the fields).

REFUNDS

What is your refund policy?
A full refund less a $30 administrative fee will be issued for any cancellation received by at least 2 weeks prior to the start of each camp. The administrative fee and 5% convenience fee are not refundable for ANY reason. Because we have to guarantee our number of campers in order to prepare for camp, any cancellation received less than 2 weeks prior to the start of each camp will not be eligible for any refund.

Cancellations and refund requests must be submitted on the Refund Request Form. All cancellation notices must be received by the deadline above and submitted by mail or email - no phone calls or voicemails. All supporting documentation required for a refund to be approved and processed must be submitted within 10 days after the conclusion of the camp session. Campers who depart camp early for any reason will not be eligible for any refund.

What should I do if my camper cannot attend camp?
Please notify the Camps Office if your camper will be unable to attend camp, even if you will not be eligible for a refund. This will allow us to keep an accurate number of campers to expect for purposes of planning meals and staffing, and allow us to notify someone from the waiting list if necessary.

If my camper cannot attend camp, may I find someone to fill his spot?
No, a camp fee may not be transferred to any other camper.
